Question From where did the idea of using this technology for Environmental, Health, and Safety?   Answer I was the Lead Designer for an environmental, health and safety (EH&S) project. I worked ten years on that project. The environmental vertical covers data across an entire enterprise, and this data is continually subject to regulatory change. The SOA4 technology was selected due to the many changes environmental managers dealt with at their facilities. We chose this data-centric approach because we wanted to deliver customization faster and more cost-effectively. I believe that no one at the time recognized this as they may not have experienced the same intense application demands that we were confronted with.   Question How would you describe SOA4?   Answer SOA4 is an innovative Internet service, which provides a Java technology that allows companies to create, customize, personalize, and access their software applications on-line, without generating any software code. This concept was really a breakthrough at the time, because it meant that we no longer had software code to maintain, upgrade, or distribute.
