| Question |
| Tell us about your architecture. How do you handle performance and scalability? |
 |
| Answer |
| We support a true
thin client architecture and can deliver to both two tier and three
tier models. We offer our clients a choice as to how they want their
application to scale. As it is a data-centric application, much of
the performance and scalability has to do with the database and how
we handle database calls over the Internet. The architecture has been
designed to be capable of massive scale. By separating the three fundamental
components, we are only limited by hardware. The initial access point
can be clustered and load balanced, while the middle tier is controlled
with posting to multiple, scalable back-end databases. We developed
the business database component to work with any ANSI SQL database
environment. The technology also offers EJB-based deployment options
for load balancing and greater security. |

| Question |
| On the subject of databases, would you consider yourself an enterprise integration product? |
 |
| Answer |
| Absolutely. The SOA4 technology can connect to virtually any database. Therefore, it can integrate databases residing in different departments, different offices in far-flung locations, serving up business data to employees when and where they need it. So, with SOA4 we actually facilitate system integration. |
