Question How would you compare your selected technology to existing ERP and best-of-breed products?   Answer We chose SOA4 so that companies would have a quick, cost-effective way to migrate their unique, custom applications to the Web and evolve them over time. There are many good ERP and best-of-breed products on the market, but they focus on a specific set of functionality and hard-code it into their software. They do offer customization capabilities, but this customization is limited and entails coding, or recompiling coded executables. The Sustainability applications that we are targeting require either a lot of customization, or are entirely outside the domain of ERP and best-of-breed offerings. In short, the technology provides a new and better way to deliver those kinds of applications.   Question How do customers get started on with you? Is rental one of the options that you offer?   Answer Customers can get started by simply registering on-line. Rental is, in my mind, the most cost-effective option. It doesn't matter if the organization is small, mid-sized, or large, rental provides a way to get up and running quickly without spending capital dollars. Rental packages can be tailored to the client's needs and can include a mix of per user login time and/or per time billing. It is both flexible and simple to start as once a customer starts using our services, they will see the value proposition.
